Training students in and through research
A strategic project of Nantes University, The university research school (EUR) develop Master's and doctoral programs closely linked to research and the key themes of laboratories internationally recognized for the quality of their scientific work. Their implementation is based on the SFRI TRITON project funded by the French National Research Agency (ANR).
Among our areas of expertise, the Master-Doctorate programs offer students with a bachelor's or master's degree a continuity of training through research, thanks to continuous skills development over 5 years, and a unique teaching team.
Our EUR is also the Nantes branch of the MaSTIC regional doctoral school and offers activities for all doctoral students, whether or not they are enrolled in a Master-Doctorate program.
The University Research School in Mathematics, Sciences and Technologies of Digital Technology, Information and Communication (EUR MaSTIC) brings together in Nantes all research, from Master's to Doctoral level, in the main disciplines:
- Electronic
- Informatic
- Mathematics and their interactions

- Signal, image and vision
- Electrical engineering
It covers all these areas, from fundamental to applied, from theory, modeling and simulation to instrumentation, from laboratory experiments to implementation on large research infrastructures, from the core disciplines to the interfaces. It also integrates numerous socio-economic issues.
