The Graduate School Health Sciences and Techonologies organises the first edition of its Summer School this July 4 and 5. Our master's and PhD's students, academics and professionals are invited to assist to several conferences, and workshops on the theme of " The role of stem cells and organoid models in biomedical research: from scientific to societal dimensions".

The programme at a glance :
  • July 4, 9am : “Using ES cells-derived stembryos to study basic developmental principles” with Denis Duboule, chaire developpement Collège de France. English language
  • July 4, 7pm : A panel discussion on "Ethics and Philosophy of Stem Cell Use" with Bernard Baertschi (Philosopher, University of Geneva) and Emmanuelle Rial-Sebbag (Jurist, CNRS)
  • July 5, 4pm : A closing conference on organoids and bioengineering by Matthias Lütolf (Institute of Human Biology, Lausanne)
This program will be open to all upon registration and subject to availability.
A workshop on scientific popularization, animal experiments in biomedical research, artificial intelligence, and scientific illustration will be organized specifically for Master and PhD students of the Graduate School of Health Sciences and Technologies.
