  • QM/MM approach (ONIOM, LSCF, EFP),
  • Molecular mechanics (homology modelling, molecular docking, molecular dynamics...).
Applications:
  1. Ground and excited state properties (dyes, photochromes, fluorescent proteins)
  2. Impact of the surroundings (solvent or protein matrix)
  3. Ligand(drug)-protein interaction, inhibitor identification of protein-protein interactions
