As part of the Multi-Frame project – Assessment Framework for successful development of viable ocean multi-use systems ('Ocean 2018' call of the Belmont Forum, JPI Oceans and Future Earth), the LETG lab (University of Nantes and CNRS, France) offers a 2-year postdoc contract for outstanding recently graduated PhDs in Geography or related disciplines.

Recently, you have successfully completed a PhD in Geography or in related disciplines (GIS science, Spatial Planning, Social sciences, Environmental sciences…) with:

  • Very good skills in GIS and data management
  • Excellent skills in scientific communication (written and oral)
  • Good knowledge in human and environmental geography (an expertise on human activities at sea and marine spatial planning may be appreciated but is not mandatory)
  • Willing to work in transdisciplinary and multicultural environments (a foreign experience would be an asset)
  • Ability to work in English, and ideally also in French (if not, a willing to learn French would be much appreciated)
