An engineer at Polytech Nantes who specialises in thermal and energy sciences is a generalist engineer who has a solid understanding of thermal engineering and energy. The mastery of the scientific and technical methods and tools in this field lies at the heart of an engineer's education.
Students develop a number of skills including the design and optimisation of thermal and energetic systems and industrial processes or installations where energy conversion and heat transfer play a major role.
