Goals
The department of Information and Communication focuses on two interrelated
core disciplines: Corporate Communication and Library and Information Sciences.
Accordingly, it offers two undergraduate courses:
- BA in Corporate Communications and Information Science,
- BA in Publishing and Book Trade.
These two flagship courses are designed to equip students with the appropriate
knowledge and a comprehensive set of competences applicable across a variety of organisations, industries and occupations.
These courses provide students with the tools to integrate into the working world and allow them to continue studies.
Our project's 5 strengths:
- To allow each student to carry out a personal and professional project by offering a choice of research topics in practicals and tutored projects.
- To provide the students with the framework in multimedia publishing and with a specialized area in tourism and cultural communications.
- To facilitate the search and financing of work placements abroad, mainly in Europe and the whole world.
- To offer tutored projects linked to local companies and structures.
- To provide students with new IT resources to help them integrate into the working world.
Spécificités
Taught by university professors, associate professors, secondary education teachers and professionals, the course is comprised of both lectures and practicals. The teaching places emphasis on personal development and team work..
Work placements in France or abroad will help provide experience to young graduates (Envole'o, AMI, and Jules Verne scholarships for work placements in Europe).
